Inter Milan are reportedly struggling to keep Milan Skriniar within their grasp especially after the reported interest from Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham. Skriniar has a year remaining in his contract with the Italian giants but it seems that he wants to spread his wings even further in the summer. Chelsea have drafted him as a potential replacement for Antonio Rudiger who is set to join Real Madrid as a free agent. Skriniar is considering his options in the summer but he is yet to give Inter Milan his decision about whether or not to stay at the club.
Chelsea are reportedly the front runners in the transfer race because they have a lot of space in their current squad. Skriniar does not intend to join a club which does not play in the Champions League.
Ivan Perisic is another Inter Milan player that Chelsea are targeting but the deal might have taken a new turn after Filippo Inzaghi informed the media that the club is planning on extending the Croatian’s contract. Chelsea were heavily linked with the 32 year old and were even planning to trade Hakim Ziyech for him in the summer. Thomas Tuchel has never held back his desire to sign the player and even tried to sign him when he was the manager at PSG.
Perisic is hell-bent on staying at Inter Milan since he believes he stands better chances of winning more titles with them. Chelsea are nonetheless on stand by if things don’t work out for him and the club.
Mason Mount has been incredible this season but fans think that he has not really reached his full potential yet. They have dared the 22 year old to competitively challenge for the Best Young Player of the Season award next year because it is quite unfortunate that Phil Foden and Bukayo Saka are currently topping that category.
