The FA women's superleague has today witnessed surreal scenes in the Manchester derby. This is after the two top clubs shared points in the derby despite one team being one player down before the first half.
City's women saw one of their key player Stanway being sent off before the half time whistle. The Cityzens however managed to lead before the half time with Kieran Shaw being on the scoresheet.
This was before Manchester United's super substitute Stansforth equalized in the last twenty eight minutes of the match. United's women took the lead three minutes later with Russio taking the red devils ahead.
Manchester United's women could not hold on the lead until fulltime as Ellen White equalized later in the match. United now hold the third place with ten points behind North London clubs, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspurs women who have twelve points each. Manchester City on their side hold the tenth place with four points.
