Gervinho was a popular name in the English Premier League between 2011 and 2013 when he played for Arsenal. The Ivory Coast international was one of the best attackers from Africa during his prime days. Gervinho is a powerful and agile player who can easily score whenever he gets the space. Gervinho was in the Ivory Coast squad that won the Africa Cup of Nations played in 2015.
A good number of football fans forgot about Gervinho after he left the English Premier League. Gervinho left Arsenal in 2013 and joined Italian side, AS Roma where he spent three years. Gervinho then moved to the Chinese Super League where he spent two years playing for Hebei China Fortune. He then returned to the Italian Serie A in 2018 where he joined Parma.
Gervinho however left Parma during this year's summer transfer window. He is currently playing for Trabzonspor in the Turkish League. The currently 34 years old will always be remembered as one of the best wingers from Africa during his prime days.
