Pep Guardiola has praised his intelligence and style of play many times and he once told the press that if a team has three Fernando's they will every single cup in the world.
He has lifted many league titles both with Shakhtar and Manchester City. Manchester city is concerned about Fernando's age and has been trying to look for some substitutions but Fernando's performance just can't be replaced.
It is my opinion that if Fernando get retired or transferred Manchester city might not win the world cup again.
