Is Pep Guardiola to Blame for Their UCL Exit?

Mourinho didn’t win an UCL after spending 400M at Madrid, got sacked by Chelsea, spent 600M at United and finished 6th. And it’s hilarious that the only time you guys write about Jose is when Pep loses. Not when Mourinho wins, because he’s finished.

In all honesty De Bruyne wasn't affecting the game quite well and his replacement did a lot better. As for Mahrez coming off with 4 mins left, any coach would have done that considering how they leaked at the back in the first leg. City were unlucky yesterdaySome individuals say he is to be blamed! Taking Mahrez and KDB was his biggest mistake ever. He should know better that winning one goal doesn't guarantee your success till the final whistle is blown. I like how Madrid is treating all these so called big teams. Liverpool should better forfeit their match, because history is about to repeat itself.

Obviously, this was a collapse of multiple layers. But if I had to point the finger at the biggest one, it’s making the choice to not fortify the midfield. Late in the game, he brought on a striker, a left back and a right back. He was looking for a tighter defense, with an occasional chance to strike. To kill the clock, he should’ve made substitutions to keep the midfield fresh, to possess the ball longer.

I don't understand why people keep making excuses for Pep. When he fails people are quick to make excuses for him when he wins he is a genius. Pep had made countless decisions that worked and very few that didn't work. I don't understand the excuses people are making for him.
