According to his coach,he was comfortable on the ball, can play from the central defence as well as the middle of the pack. His long range passing was accurate. He has given the management food of thought ahead of the team selection.

The US based defender who features for Philadelphia Union will be hoping to continue amazing minutes as he looks for his first ever national team call up. Just like Okumu who started in the US before moving to Swedish side Elfsborg and later to Belgium side KAA Gent, Kibunguchy will be hoping to emulate his fellow Kenyan players.
