NPS Confirms That All Bars And Clubs Shall Close At 7 P.M

The Kenya National Police Service has urged all Kenyans to respect President Uhuru Kenyatta's directions regarding the hours of operation of clubs, bars, and other places of amusement.

The Kenya National Police Service has confirmed the operating time of clubs and bars on their various social media channels, stating that all bars and clubs shall close at 7 p.m., as commanded by President Uhuru Kenyatta earlier.

According to NPS reports, any bar owner who is seen operating past the stated time will be jailed for violating the ongoing Covid-19 guidelines about bar and club closing times.

This is occurring at a time when a lot of Kenyans have appealed to President Uhuru Kenyatta, requesting him to address the matter or, more specifically, to reveal if he had simply lifted the curfew or all of the other orders he had imposed.

President Uhuru Kenyatta startled many Kenyans today by abolishing the curfew that he had imposed a year ago. In his own words, he stated that this was meant to take place right away.

Kenyans who offered their various perspectives and proposals in response to the occurrence have urged on President Uhuru Kenyatta to solve the issue once and for all.
