Police officers from Deputy President William Ruto's turf, Rift Valley have today recovered a consignment of police uniforms and military gear from a house in Pangani estate in Bondeni area just 21 days to August polls
Details Revealed by the Nakuru County Police Boss, Mr Peter Mwanzo reveal that the private home where the uniforms are seized is not an installation of security maintenance, which prompted a member of the public to alert officers.
The items that were recovered from Nakuru County from a private home jungle uniforms, ground sheets, police caps and ammo carriers.
According to Mr. Mwanzo, a young man was seen ferrying the items into the house sending panic into the locals who sounded the alarm however the man is yet to be Arrested.
Police invited military officers from Lanet barracks who identified some of the items as belonging to the army.
The police boss noted that there have been previous cases of people in which military uniform are used to commit crimes, making it hard for officers to track the suspects.
