An angry Indian minister has called upon all Indian citizens for allegedly going out of their houses without mask while celebrating the Victory of their preferred politicians in the just concluded elections which were carried out recently.
Speaking to a group of journalists from different media houses from India, the angry minister claimed that it was so unfortunate that citizens of India who he referred to as ignorant had the time to go out and celebrate despite the fact that they were seeing how their Covid-19 situation was.
While reacting to the deaths of large numbers of Indians who succumbed to Covid-19 related complications, he said that the ongoing cremation of dead people needed to be respected thereby calling upon all Indians to make sure they follow all the Covid-19 prevention measures set up by the ministry of health in order to reduce the number of Covid-19 infections in India.
In his own words, he said that several Indians were disrespectful to the dead by not being careful despite the fact that most of them have lost their loved ones because according to him, their celebrations were going to turn into pain after they get infected in the process of celebrating politicians who had already taken their family members out of the country.
In conclusion, he called upon all Indians to make sure they adhere with the Covid-19 prevention measures set up by the ministry of health by wearing masks while heading outside or better off, he advised most of them to celebrate at home because these politicians were not going to come to their houses in times of tragedy.
His remarks has sparked alot of mixed reactions from Indians who seemed to have different opinions and suggestions on the matter. With a section of Indians claiming that it was wrong for him to say this, others went a head and congratulated him for speaking up.
