Accidents on the Kenyan highways have started on a high note in 2022 with many people losing their lives and millions of shillings worth of property damaged beyond repair.

Lives have been lost in astronomical figures according to the National Transport and Safety Authority with the sensitization on the need to be careful on the roads being on high gear.
Last night, there was a huge fire that engulfed a truck on the busy Mombasa Road in the middle of the night.
According to the reports on our desks, a truck lost control and rammed into a pole before bursting into flames on the busy highway.
No casualties were reported from the accident that happened around midnight last night.
The firefighters didn't get to the scene on time and this saw property worth millions of shillings destroyed in the fire.
It's unclear as to the number of those that were injured in the fire with another one being witnessed on Langata Road near the Kenya Defense Forces Barracks.
