River Enziu in Mwingi, Kitui county will remain to be a history in the minds of Kenyans following the tragic accident that was encountered there last week on Saturday. River Enziu has left many families with gaps of losing their beloved ones something which is very painful considering that the government of Kitui county is there.
Speculations have been moving around on social media platforms blaming Kitui leaders for their reckless leadership in the region and how rotten they are. However, Kitui county governor Charity Ngilu has today cleared the air on Enziu Bridge as she reveals that the bridge is supposed to have been completed years ago.
Charity Ngilu defended herself by saying that she was told that the contractor did a shoddy job on the bridge and left but the National government has taken up the job. Kenyans are therefore urged to stop blaming leaders for something they didn't know how it went but instead it is high time to put the families who have lost their beloved ones in prayers during this tough moment.
