Police Officers from Mwingi are currently investigating an incident which reportedly happened yesterday at night where one of their colleague is reported to have shot both his wife and child under unclear circumstances.
According to the reports given by a reliable source of information, it has been reported that the officer who was working in Waita Prison I Mwingi was with his wife at home before a couple of gun shots were heard coming from the man's house.
This was followed by a dramatic scene after his colleagues rushed to the crime scene after which they immediately disarmed him. The suspect was taken to the police station for more investigation and questioning as the bodies of the deceased were taken to the mortuary.
The incident has since sparked a lot of mixed reactions from Kenyans who seemed to have been confused on why there was an increasing number of rogue police officers in the Kenyan police department.
With a section of Kenyans calling upon the government to consider educating this police officers on matters to do with mental health, others went ahead and called upon the director of criminal investigation to look into this before things get out of hand.
