The police officer who went rogue this morning and killed six people has been identified as Private Constable Benson Imbasi attached to the Kabete Police Station.

The cop is said to have first shot his lover before he went ahead on a killing spreed and was the end of five other people on the streets of Kabete around the N Market area.
His wife has been identified as Carol by witnesses who said they heard a loud bang from his house before they saw that it was on fire moments later.
According to Purity Cheruiyot, who is a neighbor of the deceased, Carol, the lover of the police officer was a bar attendant before she met the Police Constable and they fell in love.

This is when they started living together after a romance started from the time she was working as a barmaid at one of the local joints in the area.
Carol was shot on the neck at around 2AM and died on the spot from the single gunshot wound that was inflicted on her by the man she had called her protector.
