Transport activities along Nakuru -Eldoret highway paralyzed as bodaboda operators barricade the busy road.
Chief Inspector of police Albert Kipchumba who has been serving as OCS Gilgil police station recieved a king treatment as he was leaving the station to his new work station.
According to bodaboda overal chairman Mr Badi Angalushe he claimed that since Albert Kipchumba arrived at Gilgil many bodaboda operators breath a sigh of relieve as they were being mistreated and harassed by cops but Kipchumba came with new style of leadership.
"Before Albert Kipchumba came to Gilgil we as bodaboda operators we were being mistreated and harassed by cops but Kipchumba came and eradicated all this"said Badi Angalushe.
The residents however heaped praises to Mr Kipchumba claiming he has curb the crime rate in Gilgil and illicit brews that had affected locals.
Known through his phrase "operation under five minutes" Kipchumba could respond to emergency at odd hours with his own means .
The officer has been transferred to Sabasaba where he will serve under same capacity.
Despite police service receiving wide condemnations from kenyans following character of some officers Kipchumba has been a good ambassador portraying good image of police service .
Born and brought up in Stoton Elgeyo-Marakwet Kipchumba has been one of the unique officer on how he operates his work.
Through out his work the officer has been impacting many lives including helping alcoholic addicts to reforms.
The Sabasaba residents have a reasons to smile as the officer is expecting to bring reforms in the region
