The Ongoing Forest Rangers Recruitment Requirements And Salaries.

Rangers are often the first responders to natural or manmade threats to forest areas and range lands. They help to combat forest fires and perform search and rescue missions.They may also work to prevent harm by patrolling forest areas on foot or in vehicles.In the ongoing recruitment, Interested candidates are expected to present themselves at their respective recruitment centers, as indicated below, at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2023.Candidates are expected to present both the original and one photocopy of their Kenya National Identity Card, academic certificates, and testimonials.Each candidate should ensure that they collect their original documents before leaving the recruitment centre. Recruitment of the Forest Rangers will take place in all recruitment centers as tabulated.Entry Requirements

• Must be a Kenyan citizen;

• Must have a National Identification Card;

• Minimum of D+ (Plus) in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (Examination result slips SHALL NOT be accepted);

• Be aged between eighteen (18) and twenty-eight (28) years;

• Be of 5.6 ft (men) and 5.3ft (women) in height;

• Be physically and medically fit;

• Female candidates should not be pregnant before recruitment and during training and;

• Have a valid Clearance Certificate from the Directorate of Criminal Investigation.Their monthly salary ranges between Ksh 25,000 and Ksh 90,000 based on one’s qualifications.A new recruit is paid Ksh 25, 000 per month, and after two years, the salary is increased to Ksh 35,000 to Ksh 45,000 per month.The highest-paid forest rangers in Kenya take home Ksh 90,000 to Ksh 130,000 per month; those are people who have worked for KFS for more than 15 years.Netizens reacts:
