What Traffic Police Did After Noticed That He Was Recorded While Receiving Bribe At Umoja Stage

Cases of police officers receiving bribes from common wananchi have been heard and reportedy increasing day by day across different counties here in Kenya. These cases mostly happen especially when someone is arrested for breaking the law hence being forced to pay to avoid being taken to court.

According to the latest news report by Sikika road safety page through Facebook platform, a traffic police officer based in Nairobi has run for his safety after noticing that he was being recorded while receiving bribes from PSV vehicles.

According to WhatsApps chats that victim has shared to Sikika road safety authority the DCI was performing that act at Umoja and after arresting a law abiding driver for not giving out his bribe, he learned that he was being recorded hence running and leaving his Traffic police motorbike.
