Cases of road accidents have been rampant in the recent months with the year 2022 alone registering over 300 deaths.
Several people are feared dead in a fatal accident at Mai Mahiu.

Reports indicate that the grisly road crash involving a hearse and truck occurred along the busy Mai Mahiu-Nairobi road.
The dead were part of a family group returning to Nairobi after delivering their relative's body in the their local village.
The lorry was headed to Mau Mahiu before colliding head-on with the hearse.
It is alleged that the speeding lorry was overtaking another vehicle when it hit the hearse.
First responders rushed to the scene of the accident to save some of the people who survived the accident with different degrees of injuries.
Those severely injured were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Police in the area could not immediately establish the cause of the road crash but have launched an investigation to establish the cause.
Investigations show that majority of road accidents are caused by speeding, lane indiscipline, reckless driving and driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs.
