On Monday,Keroka town experienced heavy rainfall as a result,the town flooded bringing all businesses to a stand still.The town has poor drainage system.
According to the Keroka residents,several houses have been swept away by the rain water including some valuables causing alot of loses.The residents condemned the county government for being wreckless especially in building drainages.They expressed there worry for more disaster incase the heavy rains prolong as stated by the weather forecasts.
The motorists had a hard time crossing the flooded town as some were forced to risk their lives by crossing the water.The county government has been forced to deploy disaster response team to unclog the drainage system and provide support to the locals incase of an emergency.The governor has asked the residents to be calm as the rescue team unclogs the drainage system.
