President Uhuru Kenya, on Saturday, May 1, requested the opening of bars and eateries in the nation.

Talking at State House, Nairobi, the President confined bars to work up to 7 pm, three hours before the time limitation begins at 10 pm.

Inns, cafés, and restaurants will work till the curfew time however were to create more open spaces and encourage social distance. The customers and workers should wear a mask and sanitize.The President likewise guided schools to return on Monday, May 10 as guided by the Ministry of Education.

Places of worship were coordinated to hold a face-to-face congregational but should maintain social distances. Churches should only allow a limited number of members at a time.The ban on political meetings has been extended until further notice.

He also ordered sporting activities to resume as per the guidance of the ministry sporting and the ministry of health.
