Since Covid-19 was reported in Kenyan the level of domestic violence has increased. A day can't pass without a report of domestic conflict. Many people are jobless therefore, they are going through a lot of stress. Nevertheless, a fight solves nothing, it actually causes more pain to the family. Currently, one couple of Dagorett Sub County has been involve in a brutal fight which really cost them a lot. According to K24 news reports, a man by the name of Kalvin Amwai was arraigned at the Kibra law court for terminating his wife's pregnancy. It is claimed that Kalvin had left his wife with no food on 31st May, 2021. On his return at 9:00 pm, Kalvin demand food from his wife who served him with a stare. Filled with hunger and anger, Kalvin jumped on his wife like an hunger tiger. Shamelessly, he gave his wife left, right and center kicks which lead to a miscarriage of their five months pregnancy. Following this mess, Kalvin was arrested and arraigned at the court of law. After Kalvin pleaded not guilt, he was released with a bond of Ksh300,000. The next case hearing will be on 17th June, 2021.
