A father is reported to be on the run after he stabbed, slashed, and chased their mum on Thursday night at around 8.30 pm. All this happened while the children were watching. The police have since called for the children's NGO, Usikimye to help the children.
The children have since been put in a safe house, where they have been provided with food and hopefully the scared babies will be able to sleep. According to the statement by Usikimye, The children are completely traumatized.
"When you violate, kill or beat up your spouse, this is the consequence, terrified children with nowhere to go, a casualty of a war they have no part off. Pawed off to strangers in the middle of the night, uncertain of their future. We must learn to dialogue for our children's future." Read the statement.
The children are reported to be aged between 11years and. 1.5 years. The children narrated how their father chased them first with a panga, before turning on the mother. The incident happened in A Nairobi Estate.
