
One Police Officer has already been arrested at Kisii after allegedly being reported throwing teargas at Martha Karua during her Kisii county rally that was graced by many followers.
According to the report, the police officer was accused of throwing a teargas at the Azimio Coalition running mate who was ready to give her address. After all the top political bigwigs had given out their speech, it was then Karua's chance to speak when the police threw a teargas.
Karua was properly rescued by security team as other attendants also tried to force their way out of the rally, however a number of residents were left injured because of the commotion that was witnessed.
Many Kenyans have castigated the act claiming that the police officer should be dealt with accordingly so as to prevent such occurrences that may cause a stampede that will definitely cause lives.
The rally was forced to end prematurely with Karua running for safety despite being the guest of honour.
