Baringo County finance chief officer Jane Barus was today arrested in Nakuru for allegedly breaking into a house belonging to a man identified as Nixon Chumo in Kampi ya Moto, Eldama Ravine Junction and stealing assorted items valued ksh 100, 000.
The alleged incident happened just a month after she was transferred to her former docket-department of finance having served the CO for education for barely a year after her first transfer from the same department of finance.Photo:(courtesy) Baringo News
The complainant is said to be her husband and has been assisting the police to trail her since last week. Ms Barus was arraigned before Nakuru Court where she denied tge charges and was released on ksh 50,000 bond.
