Kenyans have this evening received had news after Kenya Power and Lighting Company announced tomorrow's scheduled power interruption which will affect many parts of the country. The latest announcement comes a few days after KPLC assured Kenyans that they will receive continuous supply of power.
The recent breakdown of four power towers in Imara Daima caused a Nation wide power interruption which left many households in darkness. The Government through the Ministry of Energy moved in swiftly to rectify the damage.

According to Kenya Power and Lighting Company, most parts of Nairobi including Kileleshwa and Riverside will be affected. Other areas of the country include parts of Homabay County, Nandi County, Migori County, Siaya County, Mombasa County and Likoni area. Kenyans have therefore been warned to be aware of the scheduled power interruptions.
The recent power outages being experienced in the country has led to frustrations among Kenyans since majority depends on electricity from Kenya Power and Lightning Company to run their businesses and for personal use.
