Four people have been confirmed dead while others have been left with injuries after a fatal accident in Kericho-Londiani road. Those who survived the accident have been rushed to Londiani Hospital by ambulance vehicle. Eyewitnesses have claimed that the Matatu van was heading to Kericho town and the driver was driving at high speed. However, the vehicle skied off the road several times thus killing four people on the spot.
The traffic police officers have also visited the scene and they have confirmed the accident and also called the drives that they should be careful to avoid such cases of accident. He declared that six of them escape with minor injuries but they have received treatment. Furthermore, he added that those who lost their lives bodies have been shifted to Molo sub-county mortuary as they are investigating the cause of the accident. He warned all the drivers that they should not drive their vehicles while under the influence of drugs.
