A miracle has allegedly happened after a police officer came back to life while in the mortuary
Police Constable Nwenyi had been taken to the mortuary after members of the public gave him a deadly beating after being told he was a thief.
The officer left his Tororo unit on Saturday, 22 Jn 2022 to visit his girlfriend. However, while at his woman's place, an argument ensued after the lovebirds differed over messages on the phone
The officer left with her phone but while he was at Makerere-Nakulabye junction, the girl is said to have caught up with the officer before she raised an alarm, accusing the officer of theft.
Members of the public who believed the girl started clobbering the man thinking he was a thief. They gave him a thorough beating and left him after they thought he had passed on.
Officers who were called to the scene confirmed that he had died and ferried the body to the morgue.
The police boss has revealed that a miracle happened in the morgue after the man came back to life
"Miracle!! Picked from the morgue alive. Hallelujah," he said.
The matter is now being investigated.
