The Kenyan people received some depressing news this morning. This information was received when news broke that one of the well-known leaders who served under Kenyatta and Moi had passed away.
According to KTN News, Mr. James Karugu was pronounced dead this morning. The terrible news has been confirmed by Karugu's family, according to this website. The second attorney general of Kenya is Karugu. Between 1980 and 1981, he held this role for only 17 months. Charles Njonjo, Kenya's first attorney general, was succeeded by him. Karugu worked as Kenyatta's deputy public prosecutor before being appointed attorney general. May he rest in peace, his soul.
