A few hours ago, residents of Tharaka Nithi witnessed a very sad incident where a very nasty road accident occurred involving a motorcycle and a Miraa vehicle. According to the report, the Miraa vehicle was traveling at a very high speed when it rammed into the motorcycle killing the rider on the spot.

The Tharaka Nithi County Emergency and Rescue manager, Mr. Alex Mugambi confirmed this accident and report that the motorcycle was heading to Chuka town when this sad incident happened. “We lost a Boda Boda operator and his passenger early in the morning following a collision with a miraa pick-up and the bodies are at Chuka County Referral Hospital mortuary,” Mr. Mugambi said.

Sadly, the rider comes from a village near Chuka town and his name is Muriuki. Sadly, he died on the spot because he got badly hurt by the Miraa vehicle. The other person died at the Chuka Referral Hospital where he was being attended to by doctors who tried their best to save his life. May their souls rest in eternal peace.
