The lady reportedly died after she fell inside the deep water despite the swift action taken by the dare devil Cheploch divers who did not fear the height of the gorge. Her body was retrieved and taken to the mortuary pending investigations into the matter.
The man survived the fatal accident but he was left in bad condition after he got serious injuries. The man is believed to have survived miraculously after holding a tree branch just before he reached inside the water. He was also saved by the divers who risked their lives.
Further reports shows that the two people who fell inside the gauge are lovers and students from Moi University in Eldoret. The two lovers were in a picnic after an academic trip before the tragedy befell them. Investigations into the matter is expected to kick off to serve justice to the two students and contact postpartum to establish what killed the lady.
