A 38-years-old man from Kiambu County is lucky to be alive after surviving a deadly attack he encountered last night at around 11.30pm. James Chomba got waylaid by two armed thugs whom abruptly ordered him to lay down. Unbowed but their orders, James swiftly sprinted enroute to his house to save his dear life. The assailants opened fire which unlukily found James. The bullet swiftly passed through his chest from the left side and exited to the right.
The attack reached the area Chief who called police officers based at Kikuyu Police Station who found James bleeding profusely and rushed him to the hospital. However, the Assailants managed to escape.
The victim is now recuperating well in hospital with divine thanksgiving to God for saving his life. Detectives are currently persuing the suspects after getting some important details about them.
