Shameful scene was witnessed from a little known Kisau village, Tala constituency, Machakos county in the former Eastern province when a gentleman,70, identified as Job Musyoka was found dead by locals inside his house after allegedly fought with wife the whole night.
According to Mercy Mweni, a local or rather neighbour, the man, a butcher in the nearby urban center was an irresponsible drunkard and spend most of the time moving from one alcohol bar to another taking illegal brew, started with killing the children before taking rat poison.
Conferming the incident, the area subchief revealed the deceased bodies were collected from the place by officers from directorate of criminal investigation department attached to Tala Police Station and was taken to Machakos level five hospital mortuary waiting to be buried once the investigation is concluded.
