Accidents on the Kenyan highways have been on the rise in the recent past with the government, through the National Transport and Safety Authority advising motorists to be extra careful.

The country has lost a lot of productive citizens due to the accidents that have been happening on the roads on a daily basis according to the statistics available on NTSA website.
This morning, a few moments ago, there has been a nasty accident at Utalii on the busy Thika Superhighway.
One body is said to be lying on the road believed to be that of a Bodaboda Operator who was knocked by a bus a few moments ago.
It's unclear how the collision happened leaving the rider dead and lying on the road.
Police are not yet at the scene and traffic is starting to build up on the busy highway this morning.
The body of the rider has not yet been moved as Police are awaited on the scene to clear the mess.
