8 People Go Missing As Gachie Building In Kiambu County Tumbles Down

The month of August has been a scary in the country as many terrible incidents has been reported. Some being road accidents and others being relationship affairs. Police killings has also being high in August.

The afternoon of Monday, August 20 has turned worse as Gachie Building in Kiambu county collapsed. Two extraction workers have been rescued as eight people are still on missing. The collapsed building was a five-storey building that was still under construction. It came tumbling down on Monday evening.

None has been confirmed dead so far according to Kiambu County Police Commander, Ali Nuno. Operation to rescue the remaining eight people is still going on.

The incident comes a few days after another people died after a lifting machine crushed at the construction site. A lot of carefulness should be taken into consideration during his time when the country is experiencing the effects of Corona pandemic. The month has been terrible but as it comes to an end Kenyans should turn to God for protection.
