Osewe is the owner of one if the biggest and well known hotels in Nairobi CBD called Ranalo foods restaurant. He had employed Mboya as their driver and he used to work in the hotel until when they relationship started being weak. As reported by 'Saturday Nation' conflicts between Mboya and his boss Osewe started after he refused to pay him his Sh300000. It has been reported that Osewe lent Mboya that money for his personal use and he realized that he does not want to pay. It happened that Mboya was in town and Osewe spotted him. He walked to where his car was and asked for his money but Mboya avoided him. When Osewe insisted, Mboya removed his gun and shot him on the chest and ribs. Mboya then went to Kasarani police station to report that Osewe wanted to kill him because he was sleeping with his wife. By then Osewe was in hospital nursing bullet injuries and by good luck his survived. It has been reported that when Osewe got better, their case started immediately and when the judge mentioned about his cheating wife, he was shocked. Osewe claims that were it not for the court, he would never know that his wife was cheating on him with their driver. He confronted his and she said the affair started long time ago. This was when Osewe got angry and he divorced his cheating wife. For now, Osewe claims he is single and does not need a wife.
