Confusion as ICC Suspect Gicheru's Mum Fails to Attend Her Son's mass Due to Alleged Family Cracks

Family disputes involving the late Paul Gicheru were made public when the lawyer's mother, Josephine Wambui, did not attend the requiem liturgy on Tuesday, according to The Star.

Confusion resulted from Gicheru's mother being noticeably absent from the moving service. The Regina Caeli Catholic Church in Karen, Nairobi, hosted the Mass. It is becoming clear that Ruth Nyambura, the wife of Paul Gicheru, planned the event. The three sons of attorney Gicheru attended the Mass as well. Additionally present during the mass were the late lawyer's sister, two brothers, coworkers, and acquaintances.

According to the family spokesperson, who was inviting family members to honor the lawyer, there is no need for a dispute. A disagreement has recently surfaced.
