Nairobi: Breakthrough As Police Arrest Man Caught Vandalising Vehicles Along Waiyaki Way Road

Breakthrough as police finally arrest a man who was caught vandalising vehicles along Waiyaki Way Road, Nairobi County.

It was reported that the suspect only identified as Njenga was caught vandalising vehicles along Waiyaki Way by members of the public who roughed him up before police came to his rescue.

The accused together with his accomplices who are still at large have been stealing headlamps and side mirrors causing cab owners heavy loses.

The latest development comes only two days after a motorist, identified as Thanga Kamau car's headlight washers worth Khs86000 stolen was on Sunday last week stolen.

The motorist had checked at a flower shop to buy a writhe for funeral and parked his car along the road when the incident happened.

"I stopped by a flower shop to buy a writhe for funeral only to find they had mutilated my headlight washers amounting to more than 86k in repairs," he said.

The suspect is currently booked at Kabete police station waiting his arraignment in court.

Police have launched a manhunt for the two suspects who are still at large.
