Barely two days after president Uhuru Kenyatta lifted curfew, ministry of transport has announced resumption of night public transport. Speaking to the media CS Macharia said covid-19 guidelines will still be observed.

This good news to kenyans as they will now be able to travel without delays that were witnessed when curfew was in force. It's is also a huge relief to players in transport sector who were counting huge losses as result of curfew and other covid-19 containment measures.
On Wednesday while addressing the nation during Mashujaa Day Celebrations, president Uhuru Kenyatta lifted curfew after more than one and half years since it was introduced. President Uhuru Kenyatta attributed the move to reduced rate of Covid-19 infections in the country. However president called on kenyans to continue being vigilant to prevent any other spike in Covid-19 infections.
