Body Of Kericho Woman Who was Missing On Valentine's Day Found Buried In Tea Bushes

A 36 year old woman who went missing a day before Valentine’s Day was found buried in a bush near a tea farm in Kericho

Emmy Chemutai popularly known as ‘Chemolel’ who hails from Kiptenden village, Boito in Bomet County was working at a multinational tea company in Kericho since 2004. She was last seen on 13th February at her Estate of work. 

Her body was found on Thursday 26th February buried in a shallow ‘grave’ at a bush a few meters from where she she was last seen. Police have launched investigations into her death.

In a social media post, Chemutai's cousin said that the deceased who hails from Bomet county was last seen at Kapsongoi estate on February 13.

Chemutai's body was found on Thursday buried in a shallow grave in Kapsongoi tea estate.

The body was found just a Hundred metres from her house.

The shallow grave was discovered by her children who saw flies flying over a shallow grave.

Emmy chemutai was working at James Finlay Tea company.

She has been working for the multi-national tea company since 2004.

Her boyfriend is the main suspect.

Police officers have started seize over the murder.
