RIP: Another Kenyan Dies Mysteriously in Saudi Arabia

Most Kenyan women in Saudi Arabia working as house help have been facing mistreatment with some returning to the country as corpses. However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs had put in place measures on how to curb the menace.

According to former Aljazeera TV journalist Nelson Muriuki, another Kenyan woman has died under unclear circumstances. The family of Alice Wanjiku Ndungu was informed about her death after she went missing for more than a week.

Wanjiku went to Saudi Arabia in February this year in search of a job and she kept constant communication with her family back at home. However, on October 3, her family did not hear anything from her and this prompted her younger sister to search for her in Saudi.

She was shocked after finding her sister had died and her body kept in a mortuary. According to a police report, her employer said that she didn't know her whereabouts and was also astonished after learning about her death.

The detectives are now treating the case as homicide as further investigations are ongoing.
