Somber moods has engulfed residents of Zoka village, Itirikwa Subcounty. This is after a police Constable from Adjumani district who was drinking alcohol in local bar shot dead a civilian.
According to the source, Lawrence Kaweesi who hails from Nakaseke district was in Zoka selling his timber when he met his death. It is said that Albert Orobati, 21, attached to Zoka police barracks opened fire at Lawrence in scuffle over a woman.

The woman who is identified as Vicky Okumu is said to be tricking the two but at this she was with Lawrence.
The suspect was arrested by police officers from Adjumani police station. The police spokesman from Itirikwa has condemned the act and has asked police officers not to drink while in possession of firearms.
