Panic after residents discovered mutilated body of elliptic girl dumped along Kismayu Road, Garissa County.
Witnesses accounts revealed that the 15-year-old girl only identified girl as Kadogo disappeared from their home at Garissa Ndogo Thursday afternoon after doing house chores.
It is surprising that she went missing for few hours before her lifeless body was recovered on Friday morning deserted along the busy road. The body had no visible marks.
Garissa sub-county police commander James Ngetich who spoke to the press on phone stated that the police are currently investigating the murder incident.
“Our preliminary reports indicates that the girl was epileptic and had mental problem. We believe this could have led to her death but we will conduct a postmortem test,” Ngetich said.
The body was transferred to the Garissa referral hospital morgue for preservation and autopsy.
Her father while at the Garissa police station to file the report refused to speak to the journalists.
