Kalonzo commission construction of River Enziu bridge where 30 choir members drowned last year

On 5th December last year, a bus carrying choir members from Kitui county was swept away at Enziu river in Kitui county. Thirty choir members died on the spot and a few survived.

Leaders and Kenyans across the country mourned the death of the thirty choir members. President Uhuru Kenyatta, deputy president William Ruto, Former prime minister Raila Odinga and former deputy president Kalonzo Musyoka led the nation in mourning the thirty souls.

Today Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka commissioned the construction of the river bridge by the national government. The former vice president is currently at the river overseeing the construction exercise.

The former vice president is overseeing the construction of river Enziu bridge)" wrote Ukambani Athiani FM on it's official Facebook page.

The former vice president is accompanied by several leaders from Kitui county and senior government officials. The leaders includes Kitui senator Enock Wambua, Kitui women representative Irene Kasalu and Mwingi Central legislator Mulyungi.
