Quivers lounge on Friday was in the headlines for wrong reasons after an armed individual whom had earlier been mistaken for a police officer, opened from fire injuring two police officers and one lady.
The police officers had gathered at the entertainment joint to celebrate the birthday of their boss, CCTV cameras captured the individual approaching the table where the party was being held and he fired his pistol as he ran away. Cameras outside captured him boarding a Toyota landcruiser v8 as he left the location, a search by citizen tv at NTSA portal revealed that the car was registered under Dickson Mararo.
Today the suspect surrendered at the Kasarani police station after a manhunt was launched against him and he was tagged armed and dangerous. According to the nation the surrender was reported by Kasarani police Commander Peter Mwanzo.￼

In his statement Dickson Mararo said that he was a businessman and not a criminal and one of the police officer who was hitting on his girlfriend provoked him to fire his firearm.
