The truck is said to have developed a break failure along this highway whereby the driver tried to control it without success. The truck reportedly swayed on the road and eventually overturned on the tarmac road.
The driver of the truck tried his best to save his life by jumping through the window before things turns messy. Fortunately, he survived alive but he suffered some minor injuries. He is currently undergoing treatment at the nearest health center as efforts to remove the truck from the road since it has blocked other motorists form passing.
Motorists using that road have been asked to be alert as they approach this spot. Kaburengu is well known for being one of the black spots for famous accidents in Kenyan history. Many people have lost their lives around this place as the government tries its best to minimize them.
