His burial ceremony was attended by a few leaders including the Cabinet Secretary in charge of the Ministry of Information Communication Joe Mucheru and his Road, Housing and Infrastructure counterpart CS Macharia.
Chris Kirubi's burial service was led by Reverend Wairimu of the Faith Evangelistic Ministries church assisted by Bishop Aaron Kiuna of the JCC.
Kirubi passed on on Monday, with the family, through a brief statement confirming he died at his home after a long battle with cancer.
Kirubi was until his death a director at Centum Investment Company, a business conglomerate, where he was the largest individual shareholder.
His daughter Maryann Musangi and son Robert Kirubi have said that they have indeed lost one of the greatest person they will ever come across.
