Transport activities have been paralyzed after a fatal accident in Kisii area on Thika-Garissa Highway and the police officers have managed to visit the scene to control the traffic situation. However, casualties have not been identified but the police officers have revealed that they will be revealed to the number of passengers who were on the bus. An eyewitness claimed that Githurai 45 bus lost control, skied off the road and they suspected that the bus might have developed some mechanical problems before the accident happened.
The traffic police officers warned the drivers that they should drive their vehicles carefully to avoid such cases of accident and they have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident in that place. Furthermore, they claimed that they will be doing random check-up to arrest those who are not following traffic rules and those who are driving without a driving license because they are risking the lives of innocent passengers.
