There are virtues that as humans, we are supposed and encouraged to have. Kindness, honesty, love and humility are among them. A person with a good heart goes far because of the many blessings they receive from the little good things they do.
NTV news aired a story of a driver in Nairobi who has been like an angel to the disabled. Antony Gikonyo is a driver along the Westlands and Kangemu route. He devotes himself to serving the disabled people along Waiyaki. He picks them in the morning and drops them to work. In the evening, he picks them from work and drops them to their respective bus stations.
The people he serves are grateful and speaking to NTV, they expressed their joy. They said they can only pray that Gikonyo will be blessed for what he does. This is because he does not overcharge them despite his sacrifice.
Gikonyo says that when he first saw them struggling on the road, he was touched and felt bad for them. That is when he decided to be helping them. He has been doing this for two years now.
