Police in Kiambu County are still in a man hunt, this is after a random tea worker allegedly killed his girlfriend because she had not prepared his best meal Ugali. The woman is said to have been battered and her hand stabbed severally by a kitchen knife to an extent she bled to death. The 45 year old girlfriend passed away in Kamahindu village Lari sub county.

A cry was heard from the house where the two were exchanging bitter words and that is when the alleged killer found his way outside the house, the neighbors intervened and helped in stopping the bleeding, it was also discovered that the two do not reside in the same plot but they are fond of visiting each other.

Earlier the man was heard complaining about hunger and yet his girlfriend had not prepared his favourite meal, this later led to commotion and the aftermath of the scenario was blood oozing from the woman's body.

She was quickly rushed to hospital but unfortunately she was announced dead upon arrival. The police are still investigating if what led to the woman's death was only Ugali or something else.
