Angry scene was witnessed from a little known Mavokho village, Bungoma county in the former Western province when a girl,13, identified as Shirleen Nafula was found by residents murdered by thirty five years old neighbour because of being a deaf.
According to Moses Otieno, a neighbour or rather resident, the locals were waken up by school going children who discovered the body along the road and started screaming. "Her clothes had been removed and she sustained serious injuries on the body and the private organs indicating she was fast defiled before struggled." He said.
Conferming the incident, the area police boss Mr Richard Ng'eno disclosed the body was collected from the scene by uniformed officers who immediately responded to a phone call from the village chief and was taken to Kakamega Level five hospital mortuary waiting to be buried once the investigation is concluded. "DCI officers have been deployed to arrest the suspect who dissapeared after the act." He stated.
