In another shocking incident, detectives in Busia's Butula sub-county are pursuing a man who seriously assaulted his 32-year-old wife by chopping off her hands before escaping on a waiting motorcycle.
The appalling incident at Sikarara area of Butula was reported last evening by the victim's elder sister, who was not aware of any wrangle existing between the couple.
More investigations to establish the cause of the gruesome attack ongoing.
